About Me

After earning my Master of Social Work degree at New York University, I worked at the Outpatient Mental Health Department of Jersey Shore Medical Center. I also served as a consultant for Carrier Foundation and area psychiatrists before beginning my private practice in Morganville, NJ.

I have received specialized training in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Sexual Abuse, Family Therapy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and the Treatment of Trauma utilizing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have appeared on local cable television and given lectures which have included: "Improving Communication in Your Marriage", "Parents Role With Their Learning Disabled Child", "ADHD—The Challenges for Children, Parents and Educators", "Childhood Sexual Abuse" and "What are You Doing The Rest of Your Life?", just to name a few.

I have presented to staff at Jersey Shore Medical Center, area schools, community centers and the National Association of Social Workers Continuing Education Conference. My affiliations include serving on the Board of Directors of Monmouth County Child Assault Prevention Program, Academy of Certified Social Workers and the National Association of Social Workers.

I have co-authored “All Aboard the Relationship”, a quarterly newsletter which focuses on understanding and improving the most meaningful relationships in life. As a public service, I have conducted lectures in the community regarding developing skills to increase self- awareness and understanding in relationships.

With over 25 years of experience, people have told me my approach is direct and understanding. I believe you will find that I am solution-focused and empathic.
